We are looking forward to welcoming the following groups at vokal.total.2026

    4xdelay (GER)

    icons_augmented

4xDelay is an all men acapella quartet from Frankfurt am Main. Founded in May 2019 at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK), the ensemble is connected by their shared passion for vocal music and a clear contemporary standard. The quartet consists of Daniel Reuter, Sebastian Munsch, Julian Beny and David-Christian Sixt. The name “4xDelay” – which means “4 times late” – is a humorous wordplay that points to the rehearsal attitude as well as to the musical concept of playing with time, sound and expectations. The heart of the work of 4xDelay is the transformation of well-known musical ideas: pop, jazz and contemporary music get a new face, are deconstructed and turned into new acapella arrangements. Original compositions add to the individual sound of the ensemble. 4xDelay thinks acapella as a creative process rather than an act of keeping it alive – between groove, experimentation for sound and narrative expression, with the steady goal of experiencing vocal music in a new way.

    A-Cappella Pop Choir (SUI)

    icons_miced_choir

From soft Coldplay sounds to vocally powerful Michael-Jackson-Hits: The “A-Cappella Pop Choir” take on everyone. The choir, lead by Christof Tschudi, consists of around 30 singers from all over Switzerland and near neighboring countries. They sing complex acapella arrangement of well-known hits and don’t need any instrumental support. Thoughtfully selected voices and a beatboxer create a homogenous sound on stage that gives goosebumps on the one hand, and make you want to dance on the other hand. Christof Tschudi founded the A-Cappella Pop Choir, short “acpc”, in the end of 2017. Shortly after, the singers already performed concert in front of a sold-out audience and was booked for many projects. They worked together with Universal Music for a Sam Smith cover and with the Pathé cinemas for the premiere of Star Wars. They celebrated successes as finalists of the international choir competition of the AAVF in Denmark in 2019, and got good expert grades at the Swiss Voice Festival in 2022.

    Amita (GER)

    icons_unplugged

Amita [Sanskrit] stands for „everlasting spirit“, which inspires the four singers from Lübeck and Leipzig to share their joy while singing. They sing about topics which they are moved by, like in their current concert program “What really counts”. They are convinced: Singing connects music and language, and that way also people. Amelie Saalbach, Kristjana Dreier, Leah Klussmann und Mascha Zippel tell stories with their voices. They unite musical genres like Scandinavian folksongs, French chansons, popsongs, jazztunes and also classical music, and add their own Amita touch. They were especially inspired by the renowned vocal ensemble The King’s Singers, with whom they had masterclasses in 2022 and 2024 at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival In 2025 they sang two sold-out concerts at the SHMF and could fascinate the audience also at the Potsdam Music Festival. The same year, they won the 3rd prize at the international acapella competition in Leipzig. With musical diversity, artistic depth and perceptible connection within the ensemble, Amita creates moving concert experiences.

    Avocalo (AUT)

    icons_unplugged

Twelve voices, one ensemble, one shared imagination of sound – this is Avocalo. Founded by the shared love of acapella singing, and grown throughout eight years of intense musical cooperation. The ensemble’s varied repertoire reaches from classical music over folk music to pop and jazz. As diverse as their program are also the professional backgrounds of the ensemble’s members. From physics over aerospace engineering to dramaturgy, everything is present – connected by the passion of making music together. In February 2025 the ensemble, with the musical directors Felicitas Spörk and Maria Leitgab, gave their third concert in the Schutzengelkirche in Graz and won the 2nd prize at the Styriarte Vocal Stage in July. The fine acapella sound invites you to relax, listen and enjoy!

    Early Bird (GER)

    icons_unpluggedicons_pure

This is Early Bird. While the whole Conservatory in Cologne is still asleep, they find their way to school in the wee small hours of the morning, to start the new day with coffee and the right repertoire. Their program consists of a lot of songs from the Swedish a cappella group “The Real Group” but also experimental sounds from the Finnish vocal group “Rajaton“. Recently they also discovered classical arrangements for their voices, and are always open for new musical influences and experimenting with their own individual sound. Early Bird was founded in 2022 and the singers are inseparable since. They are connected by their taste in music, their sense of humor and their very supportive, close friendship. Besides vocal coachings with Erik Sohn at the HfMT Cologne, they performed in several concert locations in Cologne and surrounding areas, like the Pantheon theatre in Bonn or the theatre in Neuss, and at the “Jazz against the machine” festival in Cologne.

    H.A.B. (HUN)

    icons_unpluggedicons_pure

The H.A.B a cappella crew kicked off in Budapest back in 2015. Their mission is simple: recreate your favorite pop songs using nothing but their voices. They want to show how versatile and powerful the human voice can be and create a sound that’s both super smooth and seriously powerful! Their setlist is diverse, wanting to keep things wildly eclectic, bouncing between eras and genres. They sing vocal-only takes on classics from legends like Quincy Jones, Depeche Mode, The White Stripes, and Sting. They also love throwing in a nod to the Italian a cappella masters, Neri per Caso. And they also include the latest chart-toppers from artists like Hozier, Labrinth, Meghan Trainor, and Zendaya. Their vocal arrangements are mainly crafted by Miklós Németh (known for his work with Fool Moon and Rock4). That's why every single track sounds tight, authentic, and well-polished. When H.A.B steps on stage, expect an enjoyable, technically diverse experience that proves the voice is the best instrument there is!

    M.O.M. (AUT)

    icons_miced_choir

M.O.M is an internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble that redefines beatbox as contemporary art. Since 2016, the trio, comprised of three distinct musical personalities, has moved beyond the competitive ""battle"" scene to focus on collective groove, humor, and audience connection. Their philosophy rejects the idea of a frontman, often treating the crowd as the fourth member of the group. By winning the Beatbox World Championship and the Grand Beatbox Battle, M.O.M has proven their technical mastery, yet they prioritize musicality over raw display. Their multi-genre repertoire spans experimental electronic music, traditional Austrian sounds, bossa nova, and hip hop, all performed purely vocally. Known for their flexibility, M.O.M adapts to any setting, from festivals to children’s shows. At Vokal Total PURE 2026, they aim to demonstrate that contemporary vocal music is inclusive and deeply human. Their live experience feels less like a polished show and more like an authentic, playful, and high-energy exchange.

    neilon acappella (GER)

    icons_pureicons_augmented

Neilon. Isolate, interact, and transform. Enveloped by melodies, interwoven voices, and harmonies, neilon withdraws from the world. The rush of events and the weight of despair. A moment to take a deep breath. Until they can feel themselves again, until their innermost selves unfold and begin to grow. These are intimate soundscapes, delicate clusters of harmony, and sophisticated arrangements, somewhere between pop, indie, and jazz, with ten voices, body percussion, and improvisation. The ten singers of the Hanover-based ensemble are scattered across different parts of the world, what unites them is friendship and a shared love of music. At the German Choir Festival 2022, the ensemble won first prize in the Vocal Band category. neilon has been coached by renowned figures in the vocal scene, including Morten Vinther (The Real Group), Kim Nazarian (New York Voices), and Merel Martens (Pitch Control), at vocal festivals throughout Europe.
